Deerpath Equestrian Club new rider?

Does anyone know what happened with Gia Rinaldi and the Deerpath Equestrian Club horses? I’ve been seeing Gwyneth Babington riding all of their horses at WEF recently and I’m wondering what happened with Gia riding the horses. Seemed like she was doing a good job?

I believe this 100%. I grew up riding with her. Was never a nice kid from what I saw. Heard she got kicked out of Auburn for cheating at college show and that's when she moved to Europe. Then again I have also heard the people who own Deerpath are not very nice either.

Just out of curiosity, how would you cheat at a college show? Rig the draw??

Huh. If so, it sounds like the whole team had to be in on it.

incorrect - she rode in the great charity challenge while on the school team. You are not allowed to ride in other team events while on an NCEA team. She did not cheat and nor did her team. It was just a rule that was broken and thus there were consequences.

Sadly Gwyneth lost the ride on the horses (Cosmona/Carolo) after Gianna. A lot of rounds ended in retirements. Vasco Flores was on Cosmona at Old Salem last weekend.
