Keep your horses away from Tamarian Farms in Ocala where Penny Brennan is the head trainer. The place needs a reality show, there is an appalling amount of unnecessary drama. Biggest circus of a barn ever. Not only is Penny a drunk/druggie, but also one of the biggest liars, a manipulative thief and abusive to horses. She will drink and drive with your kid in her truck. As for the farm, the footing is horribly unsafe in the indoor arena and outside in their torn up grass jump field isn’t much better. There are nails sticking out of the rotten fencing in every paddock. It’s amazing no one has needed stitches or lost an eye. They have more weeds than grass growing and they don’t even have enough paddocks to accommodate the amount of stalls there are. No one checks on or is cleaning out the outside waters. They are illegally dumping manure on the farm when it is supposed to be hauled off in a dumpster. The owner of the farm shows as an amateur, and yet she is charging people to take lessons from her. The other owner, who is not a horse person, will scream in your face like a man child and dismiss any concerns you may have for barn safety. Pretty sure him and Penny are doing lines of coke together. He is also a huge creep, so watch out ladies. If you like being happy and sane, just stay away from their shitshow circus. Penny doesn’t fire, they all most likely quit working for her because she won’t pay fairly for the work done and she dangles numerous carrots. The woman thinks she can hug and kiss everyone into submission. Even having to put their own money into Penny’s flea infested truck’s tank to make it back to the farm with client horses from the show. Then to be reimbursed for it she tells her “staff” to bill her client for it. Completely unprofessional.
