To answer the original question, we bought a horse from Marquee a while back and had a good experience. Love the horse - he is pretty much exactly as represented.

May none of you ever have to experience the horrific tragedy that Marquee had to go through. I wouldn't wish that on the worst people in the world and by your words, you people are quite possibly the lowest, most disgusting, horrible, worst people I have ever "met". You need to look deep within yourselves and do some serious soul searching on why IN THE NAME OF GOD you would even mention such a horrible tragedy online let alone cast any judgement.
On another note - Marquee has sold horses to friends of mine and they have all had great experiences.
I have taken lessons from her and she is a fantastic teacher.
I have seen her take timid riders and turn them into brave and successful show jumpers.
She works her ass off, is given little, and is very talented.
Her prices are incredibly fair and her dealings are very honest.

If you need to come to a page like this to get information on someone or spread rumors then the equestrian community does not claim you. Because if you were a part of it you would be doing the right thing which is speaking to the person directly if you have an issue with something about them and not spreading gossip about online. Personally I would not buy a horse from Marquee as she is known to sell horses with health issue (kissing spine was one we dealt with, horse had to retire). What happened to her daughter is tragic yet could have been prevented (little girl running around with a giant ball right behind horses' rear ends, it is about education of our kids what NOT to do around horses). The way she raised significant amount of funds right after the tragedy, bought brand new truck/trailer and $$ GP horse cannot be disputed, I guess each to their own.

I’m not sure who you think you are, but you are woefully incorrect with your assumptions.

Let’s start easy…
It’s your job as a potential buyer to make sure the horse you’re buying vets to your standards—not x-raying a horse’s back is the buyer’s fault. The kissing spines, regardless of when they occurred, are your responsibility to find if it was not clinical beforehand. Kissing spines can flare up after not being an issue for years—the sellers are not always to blame. I see time after time horses leave the program (not just exercise but turnout and feed as well) that works for them and the new owners can’t imagine why the new grain and being ridden incorrectly don’t work for it. There is no one to blame but the new program and management. Some horses can take it, others cannot—especially those prone to kissing spines.

Now for the real reason I’m here…
No one gets to decide on the story about what happened, the truth is between Marquee and a higher power. Tragedies happen every day, and not once has it been fair to make up stories about anyone affected.

And about the “new things” she got from the money raised on go fund me…let me know when you can get a new truck, trailer, and GP horse, AS WELL AS PAY FOR A MEMORIAL SERVICE AND ARRANGEMENTS FOR HER DAUGHTER FOR $40k…

Marquee has been nothing but a blessing to those that know her well.

First off check your facts before you go spreading shit on the internet slandering such a kind and generous soul for a situation you clearly know nothing about. Marquee is a hard working, young professional who does everything she can to help everyone around her, and if that threatens you then maybe your fragile ego is the real problem here.
Clearly you've never had to pay for a funeral cause if you think that go fund me money went anywhere but towards paying for that my dear you are very wrong. And as for the new truck I'm not sure January 2022 qualifies "right after the tragedy." As for the trailer she was gifted by her aunt, or however you would like to twist that one to fit your sad little story. We can also "dispute" the new grand prix horse that was quirky, half blind was from a trade deal.
Next time you want to try and ruin someone's life maybe you should do some research first unless you enjoy being called out on all your lies. The amount of strength it takes for a mother to lose her child and be able to pick herself up and go back to work is something you clearly don't understand and the fact that you feel the need to speak so badly about her for showing strength shows you clearly need to go to therapy!
