During 12 weeks of WEF, there wasn't a USEF drug tester to be found. You could have stood in the middle of the International Ring holding a dozen syringes and nothing would have happened.
However, this weekend, at a small show in Wellington, held at the dressage complex, guess who shows up?
What an insult to every member who pays dues to this joke of a governing body. The good old boys network at its finest.
Shame on USEF (again)

Testing at horse shows has always been a joke. They should waive all drug testing fees. How much do they collect and how much do they spend in testing. Nobody knows or cares, so it just continues.

Not sure what you're talking about... We had two horses pulled for testing during circuit. On in the young jumpers and one in the 1.40m - both times the testers just stopped us on the way out of the warmup and followed us back to the barn.

I come from a barn of 21 horses…. We alone had 6 drug tested this past WEF. I know of very many others. Unsure why you think no one was getting tested?

Re: Shame on USEF (again)
My barn only showed like 4 weeks and we had 2 tested. They were definitely there following people around.
Re: Shame on USEF (again)
They love to test the Ammys - As I can attest
Re: Shame on USEF (again)
Same thing at WEC. None to be seen for two years and suddenly two from the same barn got pulled for testing
Re: Shame on USEF (again)
When USEF gets two positives from same barn they refer to it as a "double header" and they are harder to appeal successfully
