Well now this is laughable tell me you don’t know the situation without telling me you don’t know the situation. I worked closely with two of the individuals she worked for, I still do, just on the opposite coast now. I happen to know Mavis quite well and she is an upstanding professional. She never asked or wanted any of those men to leave their wives or girlfriends. Especially not Neil. Without naming names, she quit working for one of them because they treated her like absolute shit, along with the many other talented women the unnamed man has had work for him. We all saw it, and we all knew that would eventually end. None of your information is correct. If you have ever worked with Georgie Maskrey Segesmen then the ending of that partnership will be very unsurprising. The woman is a glorified up-down teacher who somehow scrambled her way into what she has, or more like does not have today. Every client and rider who has left her, which is almost all of them, has said they could not wait to get out. She was fortunate to acquire a list of very nice junior type horses while working with an unnamed seller in Europe. The woman has no place trying to drag around a rider with ability like Mavis, nor trying to keep horses like Curley in her stable. Mavis made the horse into what he is today, she deserves the credit for putting that money into Georgie’s pocket. My view on Georgie was solidified when I heard she refused to give Mavis a small commission on the horse that she created. I heard she is heading for the east coast, nobody there will have time for her schtick.

Mavis never owned Curley, he was owned by Georgie Maskrey-Segesman and she was his rider. Mavis worked for Georgie and they parted ways after Devon, she is now based at her boyfriends place in Italy. Curley was sold for BIG $$$, will be interesting to see how he does with his new rider. He jumps like a freak and just needs a rider that is brave enough to go faster.

Have you seen their most recent ride? The poor gelding looks like he is in pain a decent amount. Not sure Aaron was the right ride for the horse. Mavis is here in California right now, I think she is doing sales with her boyfriend.
