Sex offender arrested in ocala

Last week a trainer was arrested in Ocala for sending sexually suggestive texts to a 13 year who rides with him. Jerry Aguilar was out on bail the next day. I’ve been surprised that no mention has been made of the situation. If this because he’s not a BNT or has the safe sport nonsense worn everyone out?

It looks like he was already listed as ineligible on the USEF website due to not being current on his safe sport training. Maybe that’s why he didn’t know it was a bad idea to send those texts.

Does USEF need to be notified of his arrest before they take further action?

Safe sport will step in as it’s already been reported.

For those in Ocala, Barnstaple South owner Derek Strine has been added to the Safe Sport list and has been suspended effective 9/21 for Allegations of Misconduct. The lawsuit against him in Marion Co is public record.

The best way to run these criminals out of business, is to not support their endeavors and speak up about their abuse. Ocala deserves better trainers and show organizers.

I don’t know about the bleach incident but Ben one of the twins has a lifetime ban from WECs Yellow Pony for throwing a drink in someone’s face. He’s bad news for sure. I think the other one has cleaned it up and isn’t as bad as the other. Have yet to hear anything bad about Hollywood.

Does anyone else think it’s strange this Jerry guy rents the same barn on 150th as Sam Berry did? Berry has a lifetime ban on Safe Sport for the same reason. Coincidence? What is going on in Ocala. Glad I only spend half the year there
